About the Program
The Fitzwilliam College Summer School Program offers students a challenging two-week academic experience in Cambridge, United Kingdom. SACGC plans to select students for sponsorship from Kuwaiti applicants. The available program period, number of places and final arrangements will be confirmed after agreement with the provider.

Who Can Apply
Kuwaiti students interested in an academically challenging international summer program who meet the provider’s admission requirements and SACGC’s 2027 sponsorship criteria. Requirements are subject to SACGC’s final 2027 announcement.
Any restriction on prior participation in SACGC international programs will be confirmed.
When and Where
Important dates
Terms and Conditions
The 2027 provider agreement and SACGC approval will determine the final terms communicated to selected students.
01Program participation
The parent or guardian approves the student’s participation in the designated Fitzwilliam College Summer School Program, subject to admission and SACGC sponsorship approval.
02Program costs covered by SACGC
SACGC is financially and legally responsible only for the approved program fees and the approved round-trip economy-class airfare to the program destination.
03Medical fitness
The parent or guardian confirms that the student is medically fit to travel and participate fully in the program.
04Health insurance
The parent or guardian is responsible for obtaining valid health insurance covering the full travel period.
05Payment of program fees
The payment method, payer and deadline will be confirmed in the 2027 SACGC–provider agreement and communicated to approved students before any payment is required.
06Airline ticket arrangements
Flight booking and ticket issuance will be confirmed by SACGC. Approved students must complete all required procedures: signing the required declaration or undertaking, obtaining the required travel visa, obtaining valid health insurance, paying the applicable administrative fee, and attending the required orientation meeting.
07Visa requirements
The parent or guardian is responsible for obtaining any required visa and providing a copy to SACGC at least seven calendar days before the program begins, subject to final SACGC instructions.
08Administrative fee
A non-refundable administrative fee of KD 250 is payable to SACGC to reserve an approved seat.
09Changes to travel arrangements
Additional costs resulting from a student or parent or guardian requesting changes to SACGC-approved travel arrangements are their responsibility.
10Photography, video and media consent
The student and parent or guardian agree that SACGC may use the student’s name, photographs and recordings for documentation and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law and the final consent form.
11Force majeure and exceptional circumstances
Official supporting documents must be submitted if serious illness, accident, war, natural disaster or other circumstances beyond the student’s control affect participation. SACGC will review the case under its approved regulations.
12Student monitoring and follow-up
SACGC may monitor the student’s conduct and progress through an appointed representative or other appropriate means.
13Accommodation and meals
Students must stay in the accommodation provided by the program or otherwise designated by SACGC. Where accommodation and meals are included in the approved program, their costs are covered as part of the approved program costs borne by SACGC.
14Code of conduct
Students must comply with SACGC and provider rules and instructions. A violation may result in removal from the program or termination of participation under the final sponsorship conditions.
15Emergency parent or guardian travel
If an emergency requires a parent or guardian to travel to the student, the parent or guardian bears the related costs.
16Withdrawal or failure to complete the program
Any repayment obligation following withdrawal or failure to complete the program will be governed by the final signed undertaking and applicable SACGC conditions.
17Compliance with SACGC instructions
Students must follow SACGC instructions before, during and after the program. Failure to comply may result in administrative action.
18Applicable law and jurisdiction
The final terms and signed undertaking will specify the applicable law and dispute-resolution arrangements.
